Charles Faulkner - Head of Environment, Health and Safety
Charles is the Head of the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team with over twelve years of experience within the field of EHS. He is a specialist in hazardous materials and Asbestos management, and over the years has gained extensive experience and accumulated numerous industry related professional qualifications.
Working closely with various Middle Eastern regulatory bodies Charles has assisted Clients to meet their various legislative requirements, and has even consulted on the content and implementation of the Abu Dhabi Asbestos management legislation and Codes of Practice (CoP).
Charles has worked in a diverse range of onshore and offshore environments, and provided bespoke Asbestos and hazardous waste consultancy services tailored to projects in such sectors as heavy industry, oil and gas, governmental, healthcare, educational, residential and commercial. Based in the Middle East, Charles has completed hazardous materials management projects in the UK, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Algeria, Lebanon, Iraq, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, and Djibouti.
Richard Wiles – Environmental Consultant
Richard Wiles is a versatile and highly motivated environmental consultant working within the Asbestos and planning sector. Supporting the other consultants at Anthesis, Richard has provided assistance and lead, a number of projects across the UK and now in the Middle East. He has gained experience in Health, Safety, Quality and the Environment and most recently Asbestos management.
Richard is familiar with the requirements of creating a safe environment and how maintaining internal management systems and accreditations contribute to this.
Richard has worked in a diverse range of markets, heavy industry, governmental, energy, healthcare, educational, residential, commercial and most notably oil and gas in Iraq. He has conducted Airborne Fibre Monitoring, Asbestos Management and Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys, Internal Audits and been involved with site management from both a Health and Safety, and Asbestos perspective.
